Based in Caulfield South and run by Craig Kemp, Saturn St Studio offers tailored music lessons designed to suit each individual student. Whether you’re just starting out, returning to an instrument, or looking to build stronger musical foundations, lessons are structured around your goals, interests, and pace.
After working in studios across Melbourne and Canberra, Craig developed a teaching approach that prioritises clarity, confidence, and practical musical skills. The aim is to create an environment where students can learn effectively, ask questions freely, and enjoy the process of making music.

Craig Kemp
Craig grew up in Canberra in a family that loved music. His dad Evan had an extensive record collection comprising a variety of different artists, which were constantly played throughout the home. When Craig was seven he picked up his father’s guitar, and has been playing music ever since.
Craig first started playing in bands in early high school, where he learnt the joy of performing and playing with other musicians. To further his music study, Craig moved to Melbourne in 2011 to study a Bachelor of Music. Here, Craig advanced his guitar playing skills and music theory knowledge, performed diverse genres, and became proficient in pro-level digital audio workstations (Ableton Live, Pro Tools).
Over the past 10 years, Craig has been contributing to the local music scene. He has played music in several original and cover bands (weddings, corporate events, festivals), performed guitar sessional work, written music for TV shows, advertisements, and short films, written, recorded and mixed songs for artists.
More recently, Craig has decided to focus on opening a studio that functions as both a recording space and a teaching space.
